Kelly spoke of Ruth sharing Obed with Naomi, how selfless Ruth continues to be. Kelly said "The last thing we sometimes think of is how we can bless God or someone else with our coveted treasure.
What is something you waited for and wanted a long time, when you finally got it, was your first reaction to share it with others and see them blessed. I hope so. I try not to be selfish, although my kayak is pretty much mine. I want it taken care of so it will bring me pleasure for years to come.
haha...good point, Joyce. I can't imagine giving my baby over to anyone else. Ruth waited and waited for a child; she was married for 10 years and didn't concieve a child...and then there was Boaz...a much older man...and the Lord opened her womb. She was so blessed and shared her blessing with Naomi...what a picture!
