When I thought about Naomi's plan for Ruth to go to the threshing floor, I thought Naomi just wanted to get Ruth and Boaz together so that he would help her (Naomi). Now, I am thinking that it was not just for selfish reasons that he wanted them together. I think Naomi had started to think of Ruth as a daughter and wanted her to be blessed. Don't we change our minds about someone's motives sometimes? Joy
Yes, I think so. I also think that with time, our own motives or plan changes too. As we give our whole heart to God, He changes my motives.
