Blessed Assurance!

This is one of the songs that the Lord sang to me over and over the night John had his stroke. I was waiting for you all to arrive, and I would close my eyes, and this hymn along with one other would play over and over in my head. I seemed to know all the words. I know the heavenly host was comforting me during that time. I tear up everytime I hear it now.
Quite simply, I am a woman who is thankful for my relationship with God. Because of this relationship, I can strive to be a loving wife, mother, educator, and friend.

Wow! I love the way you put it, "that the Lord sang to me". What a HUGE Comforter He is.
I am curious; what was the other song?
The other song was "Tis so Sweet to Trust in Jesus".
